Dwight Snethen has been a professional in the information technology field for over 20 years and is currently the Director of Business Systems Support at Purdue University. Dwight is a father of 2 and has been married for over 25 years. He is originally from the Otterbein area, but has called Fowler his home since 2009.

“I am proud to serve on the Prairie Preservation Guild bringing quality entertainment and services to our community. The theater is a bright star in the center of a great farming community and I am glad that I can help keep the theatre thriving for our great little community. We just need to keep people coming back so we can keep giving back.”

Vice President

Jeremy Deno

My name is Jeremy Deno. I was born and raised here in Fowler, and I am now raising my family here as well. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been married since 2010 and I have four children.

I have worked at the family business, Deno Home Center (formerly Deno Decorating), for over 20 years. I have served on the Fowler Theatre board since 2017. I’ve been Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 301 since 2016. I was previously Cubmaster of Pack 3301 and am now the Lion Den leader. I also serve on the Parish Council at Sacred Heart Church and have helped with the LifeTeen youth group since 2016. I have coached my kids’ softball and soccer teams here in Benton County and worked as a wrestling and soccer referee in Benton and surrounding counties for many years.

I enjoy volunteering my time for the theatre to help bring family entertainment to our small community.

Executive Director

Jill Byrd

Jill Byrd is the executive director of the Fowler Theatre. (She’s the lady in the office. She also has the most theatre ghost encounters.) Originally from Peoria, Illinois, she moved to Fowler eight years ago with her family. Jill has been married to her husband for 15 years and has two sons. She has served on the Oxford Community Baseball/Softball board and volunteers at BC sporting events. Jill has extensive past experience in management and started at the theatre in 2011. After working her way up–from ordering concessions to becoming a board member to her position now–she is the only paid member of the theatre thanks to a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission & Tippecanoe Arts Federation.

Jill loves being a part of the the PPG, the theatre, and its place in Fowler history. She is looking forward to seeing what the future brings to the theatre.

Paul Jackson

I’m a Taurus who loves looking at the stars all night while walking my Pugs on the beach, and holding hands with that “someone special”.
Hallmark Channel on a Saturday night while cuddling under the blankets in my PJ’s & slippers is the perfect winter evening while sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows. I’m just a fun loving guy who tries to live life to the fullest and make everyone around me happier. ☺

Velma Martinez

Velma has been a resident of Benton County for 20 years. She has lived in the farthest southwest corner of the county in Ambia for the last 16 years. She has two children that attend Benton Central, Emma and RJ and two fur babies, Charlie and Copper. She has worked at Benton Central for five years, where she mainly works with ESL students. She serves her community as a council member on the Ambia Town Board and a member on the Ambia Town Park board.

Velma enjoys spending her free time with her children and extended family. She enjoys cooking, but loves to bake; she favors impromptu adventures, meeting new people and watching movies. Even though she is always quite busy, she and her family can always be found volunteering at the Fowler Theatre any chance they get! She’s thankful for being selected and is excited to see what new adventures will come with being a member on the Prairie Preservation Guild board.
